I once tried to be a non-otaku and found it to be really boring, so I went back to my roots. While I love to watch a good anime, I have to admit that my passion lies more in reading manga about my beautiful husbands and sons. This pretty much means that I'm partial to shounen, male-centric seinen series, and my all-time favorite genre, boys' love. Recently, I've branched out to Korean and Chinese webcomics and media!
Here are some of my blog's posts:
As you might have guessed, I used to have a book blog but nowadays I just post my reading updates on sites like Litsy, Facebook, and Patreon. I also have a Goodreads but I stop updating it about halfway into the year because the app isn't my favorite tool. Throughout the year, I also participate in various bookish events like readathons and reading challenges so feel free to follow along my reading adventures
#theJCS, also known as Jon's Creator Showcase, is a submission-based project that is hosted on a monthly basis by various bloggers and vloggers. I volunteer to host the project twice, usually at the beginning and end of the year. The project is mainly run on Twitter using a tagging system. Submissions are then rounded up onto the hosts creative platform and shared with the community. Here are the ones I have hosted!
Otaku Warriors for Liberty and Self-Respect (OWLS) is a group of bloggers and vloggers who believe that all people regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and disability deserve love, respect, and acceptance. Every month OWLS members discuss real-world topics through online tours where we share personal experiences and analyzing pop culture, literature, and other forms of media. We are always looking for new people to join us so feel free to stop by our blog!
Thanks for Stopping By!
